This narrative 3 genre lab explores the structure and style of heist movies.
You will create an improvised heist story with a crew, a target, a plan, complications and reveals, while keeping the focus on character, relationships and the story that emerges in the moment.
Genres give us a shape and archetypes we might expect, but the real story comes from the characters, the wants, the relationships, and the choices they make.
The course includes two showcases, with time after the first to review, refine and strengthen the format before performing it again.
